The best solution for vibration would be to screw two posts into the roll hoops and surround them with plastic tube of the kind sold at Home Depot. Of course, this means putting holes in the hoops, although they'd be small.

This is what I plan to do when the weather gets better and I can put the top down.

BTW, I really don't like the look of hte Porsche design and can you imagine how scratched up the screen gets when you store it the trunk?

That's the idea, although I would put them on the front side only, with pressure on the screen so that the srping action of the mechanism keeps them tight against the screen.
