for the S2000. DC area drivers know the capital beltway is not only covered in a thin layer of pea sized gravel but patroled 24/7 by gravel spraying trucks. So... what auto bra should I get? I'm skipping the clear tape as I was quoted $500+ for kit and intallation (ouch!)

Only Colgan makes a bra for our car. It only works if you don't have front (spoiler) lip.

sounds like a personal issue. J/K. That sucks. I hate the way that bras look on cars but hate the thought of having the paint chewed up by gravel even more. good luck i am sure that someone on this board can help.

I've had the Colgan Bra for about a year now. Initially, it worked really well. I had none of the lifting over the headlights that others complained about. I started getting a little lifting over time and even exchanged the bra for a "new design" that was supposed to address the problem. It is still lifting. I've been able to reduce the amount of balooning by putting a small spacer ahead of the top, rear-most clip. This just stretches the bra a little more and keeps the part over the lights tighter. Other than that, it works very well and although I prefer the look without it, I believe I've saved the front from a lot of nicks.

I think http://www.Stongard.com is the best. It includes door edge, door handle cup, and mirror base pieces. Installing the bumper piece is not for the faint of heart. Ever the mirror pieces are tough to install. The level of difficulty is like a Class V white water rapid.

ElTianti,
Assumming you are a male, you may want to use one of Jerry Seinfeld's two suggested terms for a male bra:
1. "Manssiere"
2. "Bro"
Sounds a little more masculine, don't you think?
