I need badly a hardtop, can i get it from a dealer without waiting 35 days such as Handa accesories says.

Can you help me??????

By the way, i think i can get an used hardtop, no matter the color, i can paint it later, do you have any info about it, if so let me know.

i dont think you have a choice for the 35 day wait. if im correct they still have to come from japan. i waited a little less than 35 days for mine if that makes you feel better. BTW i got mine from H&A...

Turnover for hardtops in the uk is 24hours. (if from dealer)
I ordered mine on Saturday... could have it fitted by Tuesday.

Mine took 22 hours to arrive in my garage from placing the order with the dealer... to say I was impressed with the turnaround time was an understatement!

 

I ordered my hardtop with the car - at which time they quoted 2-3 months, with the car due in 6 weeks.

When I picked up the car the hardtop was fitted. In the UK Honda's normal ordering system doesn't cover S2000 cars, and maybe not the hardtop. So they have to check with Honda UK for dates. I think this makes them more conservative so that you can't complain that it didn't arrive on time. Might be like this in the US...

THey told me that if they didnt have it the uk, it could be shipped via europe the next day
Anyhow... im so glad ive finally taken the plunge and ordered one ! IMO it really improves the looks.

 

Yep, mine came from Germany - still arrived within 24 hours...

 

I've enountered this with ITR parts before - if you ordered something like before 11am they could get it next day. Though I thought the hard top was normally built to order. Guess that's changed. Don't know if the US parts system works in a similar fashion, but the fact UK Hard Tops seem to be a part, rather than a special order seems to bode well for those of you elsewhere.

I'd almost wish for a S2000 with an SLK style roof. The S2k looks best roof down, or hard top on Not quite so nice IMHO with the soft top up.
