Default i need help with putting back the headlight

I followed rick's instruction on baking the headlight for 10 minutes at 225. However, I cannot push all the tabs together. What should I do now?

heat both sides up so that the glue will get soft, and try pushing them together again.

So, you have baked them to 10 min and puled them apart. Then you put them back together?

If so, do this.
Put it together as well as you can. Taking care to line things up as best you can. Then put it in th over again for 5min @ 225. This will soften everything up again. Then press the covers into place. You might need to do this twice to get all of the tabs locked.

I finally got most of the tabs locked up. It was a bitchh to put them together. Despite heating them 15 minutes at 225 the glue wasn't soft enough to be pushed back together. I spent about 30 minutes heating and reheating the damn thing. It is back together in one piece now, although it doesn't look as clean as it was before I took it apart, oh well. I also spread a large amount of silicon sealant to make sure it cover the gaps. Cross my finger that it will be tight enough that water won't get in. How long should I wait until putting it back onto the car? It's pretty cold here and I'm doing this inside the house. BTW, I still have the other half to do
