I got my windshield tinted today and i cant figure out how to put it back on. it has a spring and a washer there but i cant get it to stay on the metal plate.

I had my mirror fall off about a month ago (probably because the tinters didnt put it back on correctly the month before).

What you have to do is get a screwdriver, loosen the plate/washer a little bit, then it should slide right into place. Hold it there and tighten as much as possible with the screwdriver. I was never able to get it totally tight, so my mirror wobbles a little bit, but not enough to be distracting. Let me know if you need more help with it (I figured out what I had to do by checking out the shop manual).
