Default i need a rear camber kit?

okay before i get started, i know that the S does not need a camber kit because of the double wishbone suspension. which allows the camber to be adjusted.

but, i am currently dropped on megan coilovers dumped all around. actually i maxed out the rears. when i went to get the alignment done i told them to get it back to specs, or even euro specs if possible.

in the end, the fronts were okay, but the rear camber is maxed out at like 2 1/4 or 3/4 degree. ill post the actual specs from the alignment shop, when i get home tonite.

now does anyone know who makes a good camber kit for the rear? or should i just raise the car to get it so i can get the camber back to specs? which is going to be better in the end, pay the money to keep the slammed look, or just sacrifice ride height and get another alignment?

i notice that i burned my s02s in the rear really quickly. they are bald, and in about a few weeks gonna show cords..

and one last thing, i noticed after the alignement, my rear creaks, and squeaks (like if you opened an old door) pretty bad. i jacked up the car and checked but nothing? i guess it had something to do with the alignement. it only happens when the suspension drastically changes (like going up and down a driveway or hill). just curious if anyone knows what that is.

thanks in advance..

If you dropped it to the point that they can't adjust to factory specs i would raise it a bit, specially since theres no purpose for it to be that low other than looks but thats jus me

Look into the Go Fast Lab's "anti-bumpsteer" kit. It allows you to get more adjustability in rear camber. More importantly, the real problem is probably your rear toe. The bumpsteer kit will help make that more adjustable too.

Also, next time you can extend your rear tire life by swapping the tires on the rims before they get too worn out.

dude, raise it. its cheaper, and i don't think you got to raise it that much do you, you just got to get it high enough to meet your need.

your car looks good dumped, but i would probably raise it a little.

well heres the details on the specs:

before
front left camber: 1/2
front right camber: 5/8
rear left camber: 2 3/4
rear right camber: 2 3/4

after
front left camber: 1/2
front right camber: 5/8
rear left camber: 2 1/2
rear right camber: 2 1/2

anyone know how much i need to raise to get my rears to 2 degrees? i have a 1/2 degree to make up for?

thanks.

Toe is more important than camber for tire wear. What are the toe measurements?
