I get a call from him this morning that he found a dealership with the clutch master cylinder. He said if I go pick it up he'll put throw it in. The dealerships 40 miles or so away. It takes me an hour and half to get there and an hour and forty five mins to get to his shop. I get there at 12:20 and there is a sign on his door that says he's going to pick a truck up that he left at 12:15 and will be back in 30 mins. He gets back at 12:50 and I go inside. He takes the part and says he'll call me tomorrow. I asked him how long it was going to take and he said he could have it done by 3 but he had to go somewhere. He said he might come back tonight and finish it or he'll come in tomorrow. I really hope he gets it done by tomorrow considering I drove over 3 hours to get it and if he ordered the part, the part would have been there Monday or Tuesday at the latest.

 

Should have got a omni power master cylinder, if you knew you were going to have to wait.

Guess he isn't planning on getting it done today even though he said he would. He hasn't called and no one is answer the phone at the shop.

 

Just figured I'd give an update on the wonderful experience I had with the mechanic. It turned out he put the wrong clutch in after the long wait and he never machined my flywheel like he said he did.

 

sounds like you should have taken the car elsewhere
