Default I still have not figured it out.

I'm stumped.

I have an 01 S2000 with a lot of added power, approx almost 200whp over stock. I have a stock engine, stock trans, stock axles and differential (that I know of, I'm the 3rd owner). I'm stumped because I'm wondering why my car does not have any of the problems any of the other owners have with there drive trains. Examples begin a blown up differential, grinding gears, and retainers dropping. I literally drive my car the way Honda designed to be driven and I have no issues at all with my car. Although now that I think of it my final drive gear set feels a bit worn out (the early S2000s gears were made of softer material and degrade faster). I am my own mechanic and Ive done all the maintenance with my car. Ive changed every fluid on the car, documented it too.

So what gives, do I have a factory freak or what?

It's probably a combination of you knowing how to drive a car without destroying it and for every thread like this there are 1000 others about someone's XYZ problem.

How many boosted miles are on your car?

All of these can be attributed to who drives it and how. They have little to do with who built it.

Good call, I'm not to sure, I bought the car used and the only modification id had was a Non-after cooled COMPTECH SC setup on it.

How many miles? I put 30k boosted, street tired miles on without a problem.

Add sticky tires and start autocrossing / tracking and then let us know how it goes.

I defiantly do not have 30,000 miles boosted, I don't think. I auto-crossed once (never do it again with this car) I have gone down the 1/4 local track over 30 times with this car ranging from 255whp to my current 361whp setup.

So you're suggesting that 30 drag launches on street tires and no regular track / autocross is "How Honda meant this car to be driven?"

An autocrosser might put 100 drag-type launches on their car per year. And the tires would have more to contribute to rear end shock than your boost.

And 361 is not "200 whp" above stock unless you are really liberally rounding.

It seems like your experience is pretty normal.

Just because I don't professionally track my car doesn't mean I'm not hard on it. I enjoy the smooth country curvy roads in my area more than anything. Whatever, I don't need to explain myself.

15-17% drivetrain loss on S2000s. I produce 361 to the wheels, stock S2000s put down around 190whp on average with an F20. I didn't say it was exactly 200whp, I said it was "approx almost 200whp over stock." 361-190=171. As far as I'm concerned, 29whp away from 200whp is pretty close to my quote. Thanks for dissecting every detail of what I said.

I'd like to take it to Road America but the fees are fairly high for that.

I'm just giving you crap. Your opening post was a little thick... re-read it. It was pretty funny.
