Im 19 so i can see how they would profile me like that. I guess i will bring my mom next maybe that will convince them a little lol.

If you got the si soon as you got good at driving it you would want an s even more. As long as you only hurt the clutch in the s and dont total it or something like that the depreciation of an si over a year or even a month would end up costing you more than a clutch. Im saying depreciation because you would want to sell the si and get an s. I would think as long as your careful and responsible you should be fine.

i wouldnt really learn driving manual on the s2000 , i suggest you pick up a front wheel drive manual like a used si before you go straight into your first manual being a rwd , learn on that then move into the s2k. either way good luck .

It wouldnt take you that long to learn. Do you have any family members that have manuals would let you learn on their car?

I just bought my 04 a couple weeks ago. Bone stock, 45K miles for $17K. Best price I could find for an AP2 around here.

I'm 22 and never had a problem getting to test drive whatever I wanted to look at. One dealership in Atlanta tossed me the keys to an 08 CR and didn't want to ride along. Strange luck I guess.

im 22 - every dealer PUSHED me to drive the s2000 (by myself or otherwise) even after I told them I had never driven stick. They always were willing to just let me and whoever I was with take it for a run (i guess they were that confident that I'd fall in love with it).

As for learning on the s2k - it's my first stick shift, and I'm loving it so far (yes i learned on it..... Granted, I'm not out racing it on a track or going crazy on the curves (yet).

IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE DEALER.

The only place i have ever had toss me the keys(I have even been with my mom to alot of places) was a kia dealership that had an rsx auto. The other places they had to go along even if it was an eclipse or something with a tiny back seat they would make my mom get in the back seat. Testing cars is bad around here i guess.

The only advice i can give you is if you want an s and dont get it you will regret it. I think what kept me from getting one in the first place was the fact that i didnt know how to drive a manual and the rwd would be semi new (driven rwd trucks suvs) so opted for the rsx-s after i learned to drive the rsx (week or 2 later) i have regretted not getting an s but i plan to sell my rsx and get one soon

Just be careful very careful
