Default I think I feel bad..... maybe not

Okay on Thursday my girlfriend's sister told me that a yellow 02 s2k (her classmate from high school) told her that he beat me and he took me by 2-3 cars, I was pi$$ed. Here where Im from, I know and met a lot of s2k's and we have a mutual respect for each other and never raced, so I told her it never happened cause I never race on the streets, then I said well tell him Ill race him again in the back roads and to prove it that he can take me. Well the following day she calls me up during their lunch break and she says that the guy says he is down to race after school, so right after school we met up at the back roads near the desert. I checked out his ride and he was bone stock and I have an AEM cold air and custom Megan exhaust (dual), anyways in rage about the comment he told my girl's sister and told him hey dude you should warm up your tires. He was pretty nervous and could tell by the way he talks and not looking at me, also knowing that our rear ends could not take the abuse and told him try dropping the clutch at 8k rpm before warming up. He does it a couple of times to impress his friends while me thinking "this douche doesn

how the hell do you people afford s2k's at that age. i'm 25 and i'm just now thinking about buying one. I didn't flip burgers after high school, but i couldn't afford a car like that, i had a new truck and a bike at 20, but no sports cars.

oh and as for feeling bad, you shouldn't, it was good of you to shut the kid up, but at the same time it shows a certain immaturity in your character that you will outgrow eventually. when your older you'll just walk away from the situation or take it to the track where it belongs.

usually I'm not a prick about these things but holy crap, what an assault on the english language.

You seem to think you're better than this kid just because you're older. I've noticed people think that because they're no longer in high-school, they're more mature and experienced. Wouldn't the mature thing to do have been to just let it go? Who cares what some "high-school kid" thinks.

*edit* to gixxer - I sold a kidney to get my S. Worth every extra trip to the pisser.

What happened to that mutual respect that you have to trash another man's S?

Yeah I do agree that I was immature calling out the kid, I guess it was just a reaction and a shock when a high school kid was claiming he called me out and beat me. Ever since I got my s2k 6 months ago I never once tried racing on the streets always took it out in the track, this is why I called him out to race by the desert.

That was exactly what I was thinking when I heard about this kid talking trash. That's why I was so shocked about it.

that's hilarious. i haven't sold any body parts, but after the first few motorcycle crashes I've almost needed some. lol. Guess that's why i'm looking to go 4 wheeled again. I love my busa and I plan to get an R1 too, but the more time I spend on the bikes the more accidents i seem to have. 99% of the time it's not my fault, usually inattentive drivers changing lanes into me and such.

I'll be honest, as for a pure driving experience, it's a tough call between the boxster and the s2000. I actually enjoyed driving the boxster a little more, but when you figure the cost of ownership of the honda vs the porsche it's a no brainer.

I figure now that my tundra is sold, and I'm moving back to hawaii with a pile of money, i can pick up a nice used S, a fixer upper r1 (for cruises and track days) and keep my busa (for drag strip duty,) i also have a beater truck that gets good gas mileage, so life should be pretty good. hopefully we'll have a track of some sort shortly after i return to HNL.
