i have owned my AP2 for about 2 years now and i bought it used at a Honda dealership in Fresno. i have driven the car only about 50 times and spent about 5 days of that in modifications and tuning. so far nothing has broke since ive owned it or after modding it but one thing that just hit me, i "THREW AWAY" every part i have replaced without even thinking to sell or give it away to other users that needed it. am i retarded? i did keep the stock 05 wheels though its a shame, these parts were immaculate, better than most of the used stuff on ebay. WTF was i thinking????

Yeah, hindsight...

I was going to sell my OEM parts but decided to keep them because you never know. Luckily I have enough room in the garage, so space is no issue.

Even if you don't think you will need all these parts again, its still worth it to keep them. You never know what can happen later down the road. Plus if you ever have to sell the car, you can convert it back to stock to sell it easier/make some money back on modifications. I always keep stock parts unless they are broken when I take them off.

with this decision this forces me to keep my car and get my moneys worth. its a good thing i only use quality parts, i get tempted to try out knock off stuff but if they fail then i am SOL

the car just seemed so "newish" that it never crossed my mind to need backup parts. i forgot about my CRX days when i would hord every part i could from junk yards, abandoned cars and ebay deals. the sad thing was i put all those parts in the trash can, not even scavengers had a chance.

so if i gut my interior to add a roll bar, should i post my parts for sale? would anyone want that stuff?
