Darnit, the first 8 months or so I owned the car, I v-tec 'ed very minimally, almost never at all (like..once every 6 weeks). Then the last two weeks, I've been vtec 'ing like crazy, and now driving below 6,ooorpms just drives me nuts. I feel as slow as a snail.

Anyone feel this way? How did you deal with it?

DON'T STOP VTEC'in......

 

 

Yeah, the Controller at the company I work for (Vtech... Almost Vtec) just recently bought a 03 S, and its been well after his break in, and he has not Vtec the car yet, so I spend 10 minutes convincing him that it good idea to at least Vtec once a day for ware reasons.

I was shocked when he told me that he has never revved over 4K....

Yeah the sale vp guy really didn't vtec his either until he was about to trade in the car.
I think he got around 20k miles on it.

 

not vtec-ing your S is like dating Carmen Elektra and never getting L**D...your missing the best part

 

I want to know who in thier right mind would not want to experience the soul of this great automobile and what the reasoning is. Get a Miata if you want to play nice.

 

 

I had to get into a 12 step program after about 8 months of VTECing. I keep having to start back at step 1 every day.
