Question guys, if i replace the oem 16" wheels with 17" wheels and don't want low-profile tires will the size difference mess up the readings on the speedometer... I need to know asap because i'm about to buy tires!

your question doesnt make much sense. The 04-08 s2000 comes with 17" rims stock and it doesnt have "low profile tires"

If you want 17" wheels and put a tire with a larger profile it'll look and ride like crap.

215/45/17 front and 245/40/17 rear

also dont make the mistake of buying cheap wheels which are actually designed to fit a fwd car and dont come staggered. (ie wider rim in the rear or you'll regret it)

yeah get oem tire sizes. if you get anything beefier then at least go 225/45/17 and 255/40/17. wider is better.

ok so go 215/45/17 front and 245/40/17 rear... sounds good thanks am i going to run into rubbing issues or anything? i just have no idea PS do the rim sizes seem ok? I know their rotas not works or anything nice but if they have any chance of screwing up anything with my car i'd rather just sell... and you said designed for fwd cars so i'm confused i see a lot of s2k's running slipstreams even though they're not great. just looking for advice. thanks

If you go up in rim size and don't go down in tire size.... your just plain dumb. Why would you do that? You haven't bought the tires yet so by the right size for the 17" rim so your rotational diameter stays the same.
