Default I was wondering

What if you used 4" piping for your intake (therefore sorta customizing it) and used a 4" to 3" like cupling to attach to your throttle body?
Would there be a significant gain?

Reason I ask is, I useto own a 93' prelude and rigged an AEM S2000's intake to it.
Buddy of mine bought a comptech and just gave it to me so I decided to "fit" it in there. (did some measuring and cutting also got a 3" to 2 and 1/2" cupling for throttle body.)
I remember getting huge throttle response, but not sure of gains.

Anyone got input on this ricer mod?

I think as long as u dont go too big and you dont make too many turns it should be fine. I remember i built a Cold air for my ITR hatch out of PVC and i made 9whp on a dyno so yea it should be fine.

I did the same on my old Civic!! Didn't look half bad under the hood either

Best part was in the winter time or wet seasons I could remove the PVC section and go back to short-ram intake and get the filter out of wetness-way.
