I would get the 350z if I wanted a coupe. But I wouldn't trade the s2000 in on a z because the z isn't a convertible! When you lower the top on a 70 degree day, it feels like the whole world opens up. Verts are great, and girls think so too!!! That should be reason enough.
i wouldnt take a Z over the S PERIOD. i think it looks like a crx and a carrera made whoppie. plus i like fast N/A cars not fast cars that come with a turbo to make it fast :-/
I set the trip odometer so it would read 642 when I got to 2002 miles. Then when it got close I carried my digital camera in the car until it came up. I thought it would be something unique to have in my signature.
For the past 2 weeks, I've been wishing the S2000 came w/ a targa top. I even drew a few scetches to see what it'd look like, but I came to the conclusion that the S2000 is meant to be a convertible and wouldn't be right any other way. It just looks too sweet w/ the top down.
The only gripes I ever had w/ convertibles was that the chassis usually aren't as strong as a coupe and the convertible tops interferred rearward visibility too much. The S2000 great chassis and also comes w/ a hardtop. Problem solved. Nothing compares to riding around w/ the top down in a convertible.
Does anyone a Mugen hardtop or have pics of it? I don't think I've ever seen anyone on this board w/ one yet. I know its expensive as hell.

The problem with that coupe style is that is detracts from the beautiful wedge shape that the Honda engineers worked so hard to perfect! I say stick with the lines that Honda produced, although I DO love the idea of a coupe model - stiffer chassis (which is tough to imagine), lighter body, probably cheaper...
