ideal RPM launch point??
Anything below about 6000 rpms will hook up real good. Unfortunately your engine will also bog.
Why don't you take your car up into the Santa Cruz mountains where it belongs and leave the drag racing to the Camaros and Mustangs?

From the Honda dealer's standpoint, any evidence of launching your car will result in you paying for all repairs. They know!!!
As for the real answer, you'll have to figure it out. It varies according to type of roads your launching from. Experiment where the RPM's stay close to or above VTEC once you hook up. It's way up there!!!

If you're going to launch at 6000 rpms or higher (I would actually recommend more like 7000), make sure you side-step the clutch rather than just letting it out. Otherwise you'll have a fried clutch for sure.
