Slip your foot off the side of the clutch instead of lifting it off the clutch. You basically cannot lift fast enough and the clutch will just slip helplessly. side stepping allows the clutch to snap back and grab.

The best run that I've done is with a 7500RPM launch with side stepping the clutch. I'm in Utah, so my times suck, but compared to others here it's good. I ran a 15.25 at the track(legal) the other night.

i argee. my fist time ever even launching my car was at the track and it was at 7500 rpms. i ran a 14.3

R/T 1.259
60' 2.359
330 6.132
1/8 .000
Mph
1000 12.017
1/4 14.343
MPH 95.27

i think that was pretty good for the first time at the track and even launching the car ever. i would go with 7500. i just rev it and dumped it. if i ever go again or even do it on the road, i am not going to keep my foot to the floor when i launched. as you can see i spun a lot and to fix that i would think not to keep your foot to the floor but to play with the gas after you start to spin.
