If all Japanese cars were available in the US, would you still buy the S2000?

Although I really like the S2000, for me I would consider the R34 Skyline GT-R if it was sold here. When modded (or left stock) the car looks sick! plus the RB26 can handle some serious power! It's one of my dream cars but I would not pay over double the price to have it imported here...

I also would get the Skyline GT-R34. It just looks so damn sexy and can't beat the performance with AWD.
I've looked into getting a R33, they run about 35g's here in the US. Maybe one day I will have one sitting next to the S.

I don't like the looks of the skylines all that much. Perhaps this is just because there are so many skylines running around in Sydney.
One reasons I bought my s2000 was because there are so many WRXs, Supras, FTOs, Skylines, and Silvias/200Sx running around here.
Both the Skyline and Supra have a big following in regards to modifications and I have heard of some examples of both getting 1000HP.
I think maybe at the moment it would be a toss-up between maybe a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo-VIII or the up-coming next gen Skyline GTR (which would most likely be a like a turbo 350Z).
I still like the s2000 though as a convertible.
