Convertible.

I think the S2000 would make a lousy coupe. You'd really have to change tha angle of the window to get better aerodynamics for a coupe.

definitely convertible. having the convertible is great for the warmer days plus you always have the option of putting on the hardtop.

a stiff vert all the way.

BTW, you say a coupe would have been less expensive? No need for the High X-Bone Monocoque Frame?
I belive the main reason for the increase in cost of drop tops is the need to make it more rigid.
That coupe looks sweet, but.....no

I had never owned a convetible; I had always wanted one. A Honda convertible with performance was the best of both worlds: reliability and fun!

I was sold on convertibles after owning my del Sol VTEC. The S would not appeal to me as a coupe.

The only way I would buy it as a coupe would be if the top were black. The white/white combination does not do it for me. I like the NSX-look much better. I guess that's why I am ordering a black hardtop ...

A roadster. This is my first. My wife really wanted a convertible and I wanted something more fun than the Si I was driving. Now that I've had this for a little while I will never get another coupe. If you're getting a coupe you might as well get a four door sedan.

Convertible is definitely what I would have gotten. With this chassis, I don't see the coupe being much cheaper for the same reasons that PWRMKR mentioned. Honda may have marked up the convertible version more, but it wouldn't have cost much more to manufacture since the frame was designed from the ground up to be a stiff, open top chassis.

I was basing different pricing for Coupes and Convertibles based on the current market.

Example. . .

BMW M3 Coupe - $47,195 (Base MSRP)

BMW M3 Convertible - $55,195 (Base MSRP)

Difference between Coupe and Convertible - $8000

Mercedes-Benz CLK320 Coupe - $44,565 (Base MSRP)

Mercedes-Benz CLK320 Cabriolet - $50,615 (Base MSRP)

Difference between Coupe and Convertible - $6050

Chevrolet Corvette Coupe - $43,895 (Base MSRP)

Chevrolet Corvette Convertible - $50,370 (Base MSRP)

Difference between Coupe and Convertible - $6475
