I probably still would have wanted the 'vert even with that kind of price differential.

I was looking to replace my 1996 M1 Miata with another roadster. I could have bought a quicker hardtop for cheaper then (Mustang, etc.) but that wasn't what I wanted.

The fact that the S is a ground up roadster design with a chassis that is, in fact, stiffer than some coupes was really amazing to me when I first looked into the car.

So, no thanks. I'll keep the drop top.

But, airgate, those are coupes that need to be strengthened to be convertibles. With this chassis, that wouldn't have been necessary.

WHAT? a COUPE. This is a bad joke

There is a HISTORY at work here! The S WAS and should ALWAYS be a CONVERTIBLE!

That's what the S is all about. Its a SPORTS CAR.

If Honda's coming out with a coupe they better not name it the "S."

Thank God Mr. Honda isn't around to hear this.

If it wasn't convertible, I'd probably get an NSX instead.

I would not have purchased this car as a coupe. One of the reasons that I did purchase it is because it is the stiffest roadster on the road.

Dude! Why by a gutless coupe when there are so many other more manly hard tops out there?
