Look for a Diff from an early RX-8 Automatic and you can swap the 4.30 into our car.

Really? I'm sorry but the driving experience between a manual tranny and one with paddle-shifters is uncomparable. The manual allows the driver to be in control of the vehicle while the paddle-shifters... Well, they're just a tad bit better than an automatic transmission.





Anyway, I'd magically add power to my S2K. At least 300 whp & 250 lb-ft of torque.

 

either a 370z type drivetrain (without the rev match), a small v8 like the atom 500, a turbo, or a sc.... i think you get the basic point.... POWER!!!!!!!!


or... a much taller 6th gear so that 70mph would be in the 3k rev range. plus vtec kicking in at 5k like on my old lude
