Since i have a silver car, I always drive with the headlights on. It blends in and I've had a couple close calls already. If this is a problem for other drivers, I just don't care, I'd rather be flipped off or flashed then broadsided.

I used to care about the HID annoying people day/night but now I just don't care. If they see me they won't hit me. Look at it as a safety feature rather than a nuisance.

Yeah, I've got a silver too and I keep my lights on during the day also... just a safety thing. That tiny silver car is just too easy to miss if the other guy is not paying attention (a problem with way too many drivers). I did have a couple close calls before I started using my lights during the day, but none since...

I always use my lights during the daytime.

My S is B/B and my very unscientific study has shown that when my lights are on, other drivers are more likely to notice me.

However, driving in Massachusetts almost guarantees that you will be run into a bone headed driver in any car you drive, lights on or not!

Us lucky Canadians have our lights on ALL the time with Daytime Running Lights as standard.
Studies (scientific ones, too!) have shown a reduciton in accidents with the use of DRLs. Regardless of the colour of the car

As the owner of her 3rd silver s2k, you bet your ass my lights are on 24/7.
The best advice anybody ever gave me.... and it came from this site!

I like having some sort of light on all the time, a typical daytime driving light. Could something be put into the phony brake ducts in front?

My silver S2000 must be nearly invisible to other drivers as I have had several people try to hit me. I too started driving with the running lights on (not the HIDs). Seems to help. I didn't know about hitting the + button after the lights are turned on - thanks! I've just been driving with the instrument lights very dim.

Along with the daytime lights, get some new horns too. I just picked up some Airhorns from Pep Boys. IMO, I think that's what every S2K needs.
Air horns are my next mod! Yesterday after you left, 5 of us took a wrong turn on the way to lunch so we took a "scenic route" It was surreal that it was one silver and four reds! Usually around here its 50% silvers. Anyways, I'm used to idiot and blind drivers missing my car so...oh well...all in a day's drive.

I am sure the yellow drivers NEVER have that problem as we see y'all coming a mile away!
