illegal to drive without hood?

I think he means without that smooth hood up front, aerodynamics goes to shit. At higher speeds with all that drag up front you gotta wonder.

How does the car handle differntly? I would guess there would be a little louder from wind also?

probably find that at highway crusing speeds the car will want to dart slightly from uneven air slamming against the firewall and disturbing the balance of the car..

and anything less than 50mph i doubt you'd feel it.

It's legal in TX to drive with no hood. You don't need fenders or a windshield either, for that matter.

I"m pretty sure windshield, wipers, headlights tail lights are federal regulated VC's and cannot be overridden by state law.

Interesting. When I helped my husband study for his state inspector exam the book specifically said windshields weren't required.
