Small engine in a small car? Totally make sense. I have been thinking about this for years... but I just dont have the knowledge and skills to do it. Good Luck!!!! im coming from a rx8 too.

I would definitely want to see a 10k RPM 20b s2k tho lol

Holy thread ressurection...

I am in the research stage of a rotary swap.
I own a '91 RX-7, running 400+hp for years without failure!

But.. i may get bored with the car itself, not the rotary.
The S2K looks awesome, just needs a "better" engine imo.
Mine is almost perfected to my liking, and will be a pretty easy swap due to the full standalone management

Anyone know if this guy has even started it, because there are no pictures...
Would be helpfull if he did

If You want more power just turbo the F20/22. Don't think there's any debate that the F20/22 is a far superior engine..

Unreliable rotary with poor gas mileage < boosted F20/F22.

I did all the rotary mods myself, My engine is running strong for 10 years, running 400+hp for the last 4 years on stock internals and ports.
It has encountered massive detonation, overheating, overboost, massive lean periods under full boost, turbo failure and it is still like new..
A rotary is as reliable as you want it to be, if you know what you are doing
I get the same average mileage as a factory FC, even with this amount of horsepower.
To me, the rotary is superior and a lot more fun and i am sticking with it

Its not about getting more power out of an s2k, i want to put my engine into some other car and i love the S2K looks.
The F20C has been swapped into an FC, so why not go the other way around?
A rotary in an S2K also lowers the center of gravity, as the F is a very tall engine

Now that it is clear that there is no interest in debating if this is a good idea I dont think we will waste our time posting about it.

Hey OP, don't listen to these fanboys. lol
I'll tell you what's crazy, flaring fenders so you can fit over sized wheels with stretched tires.
Good luck with your build.

Because there is a reason that they chose to go with the F20!

Yeah, because it is cheaper to swap a F20C in a N/A FC, then trying to get 240hp out of the N/A 13B

Nobody has done this swap into a Turbo FC, there is a reason for that...
