why would you need to reserve a spot for your build thread? if you had wanted to do that you would have actually put "build" in the title of the thread and you probably would have reserved the first few posts. i agree with the other guy about you troll baiting. maybe not consciously, but somewhere inside you wanted to know what other peoples reaction would be to your idea and when you found out it was overwhelmingly negative you got angry. now you have a 4 page long thread that answers none of your questions. anyone who has been on the internet for an extended period of time should realize that trying to defend ones self online is a completely futile exercise that often further stokes the flames rather than puts them out.

i have nothing against your build idea, honestly i would like to see how it turns out. it would certainly be unique.

just my 2 cents.

Its been about 2 years since he posted that, so i don't think he is going through with it.

Before i get close to doing it, years will have passed also.
But i am building the rotary engine first which is the biggest part of the job.
Swapping a running engine setup into another shell is pretty much peanuts compared to a reliable rotary build..
