I finally made the deal on my 2001.

After much weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth I've finally locked myself in. Suprisingly enough after having looked all over the Southeast my local dealer (West Side honda) decided to work with me.

It's Spa Yellow with all the options for $36,750.00. I think I'm paying a little less than a 1000.00 over sticker. It'll be the first Spa Yellow in town.

I think!

Anyway I'm headed down to put my deposit on the car and get a "production #" or something the car is scheduled for delivery in January.

Thanks for all your help!

This board is fantastic!

Bye

Mack:

Make sure the deposit is refundable and get it in writing. I would deal with the sales manager if possible. My first sales person quit before my order was placed and luckily the sales manager honored my deal. Nice color choice by the way!

All available I think:

CD Changer 399.00
Attachment Kit 136.00
Security System 279.00
Attachment Kit 169.00
Front Spoiler 499.00
Rear Spoiler 489.00
Side Strakes 459.00
Cargo Net 39.00
Seat Back pockets 69.00
Cover 229.00
Wheel Locks 35.00
Emblem Kit 100.00
Shift Knob (Titanium) 159.00

I think thats it. Right at 3000.00 worth of goodies. And their not charging me labor on the install.

I did make the deal with the sales manager. He said he would put it in writing. I have agreed to a non refundable deposit but I'm comfortable with that.

congratulations!... my strong advice is to ask them if they can let you see the car without the side strakes (and maybe the other body parts) first- you can then hold them up to the car to see if you really like them. once they are mounted, they are the car (will require body patches to remove). my recollection is that they also hang down on a car that already has a hard time crawling into some driveways (such as mine).

Oops, read your post again and see that you are getting it in Knoxville. Dang, we'll still have to meet up one day.
