Ask to see the car BEFORE the side strakes go on and ask for the option to pay for them but not have them installed!

You may decide that since it does require drilling a hole nearly the size of a dime into the side of your car that you don't want them. Also, some have found the quality of the strakes to be less than what they would have wanted. Leave yourself the option not to have the holes!
