My neighbor kid just hit my car with a moutain bike. He hit the car on the front license plate frame with the bike front wheel and then fall on the hood together with the bike. Result : front bumper scratched, license plate and frame ruined, hood completly scratched and damaged and some other scratches just above the right front headlamp.
He didn't die and I'm on Prozac...
Since the hood is made of alluminium, I beleive that it must be replaced by a new one. Am I wrong? When he fall on the hood with the bike I beleive that the weigth of both made the hood hit the motor( he's about fifteen and on the fat side ). Could there be any damage to the motor or any other part under the hood?

Regards,

Paulo

I'm sure the kids parents will find a way to sue you for it.

I doubt the damage went beyond the external panels of the car.

I would want all new parts, esp. the aluminum one. Aluminum fatigues easily when bent.

Thank you all.
It was a really stupid accident. I was cleaning the windshield of my car, parked outside my garage, when the kid enterded the corridor of the garage sprinting for about 40 meters on a staigth line and just crashed into the car without even brake. He said that he was looking down to change gears and didn't saw the car... I should have bougth a Mack or a Kenworth...
