How does highway stability feel in comparison to the AP1? For example, driving 80-85 MPH on bumpy road?
Highway stability is excellent ... a better than my AP1. As for bumpy roads, the CR doesn

Oh boy. This doesn't bode well for me. Just curious ... did you complain to Honda? What was their response?

Hey, did you shift right? because MY07 doesn't drop out of VTEC, and my friend says he felt instance power through out and doesn't feel any VTEC kick in because I'm still in VTEC.

The Drivetrain are unchanged I assume because of the report and just the steering gearing is different.
I'm gonna have to double check myself, then. I've confirmed that the ratios on an 07 are the same as an 08. I'll do some more testing and report back.

Does the head unit render the s2000 audio controls useless?
Yes. But, I installed the PAC-SWI and now have full use of the dash controls with the installed Alpine.

[QUOTE=Tizn,Jan 11 2008, 04:19 PM] I've noticed that my engine has an occasional hesitation at anything less than full throttle accelerations between 2-4k revs. It

Maybe I'm not understanding the AP1 thing, but you can have an auto lock setting on your alarm system. You just have to set it on the master unit. There's a little switch and you can change the door locking preferences to auto-lock from the default manual.
The AP1 designation refers to the model years with the F20C engine. The AP2 designation refers to the model years with the F22C engine.

I'm unable to locate the feature you refer to on my Honda security system. Can you provide me with a page number in the manual that points out this feature?

Thanks!

I remember reading this in my Alarm booklet too, I'd have to track it down though. I don't use it, but the alarm unit should have a switch on it.

I believe the dealer can do a reflash to take care of the hesitation your speaking of.

Does this happen with VSA disabled. The only hesitation I've noticed with my AP2 that is powerful enough to bob your head is VSA.

Also the gage cluster is different. Is this all MY08s or just the CR. I don't think I like it...
I always run with the VSA disabled except when the roads are wet. The hesitation seems to occur with the VSA on or off.

The cluster is new for all 08's. Here's a pic of the non-CR dash from the 08 brochure.
