I hear that the in-dash TVs don't clear the dash on the s2k but don't quote me on it

I haven't tried it yet, but I think the Kenwood KVT-715DVD *may* fit. Most indash video units only allow the screen to angle, but the Kenwood allows the screen to actually slide out further. I'm hoping it will slide out far enough to clear the vents.

Help me understand how this would be used - I am drawing a blank on what role an in-dash TV plays in a roadster. Long traffic jams? Porno addiction de-toxification (like XXX to XX to X to R)?

indash tv could be used for navi, mp3 player, xbox for when your stuck in traffic. (j/k on last one)

I'm think about using a fixed touch screen lcd hooked up to a laptop i have with a broken screen and using the laptop as a mp3 player.
