Yea, my wrx isnt really a wrx anymore, It got a full jdm rac 2.0l drivetrain motor, trans, diffs and all the bolt on goodies, I filped the intake manifold. It has a HKS 2540 turbo kit and is just shy of making 400hp and 400lbs/tr @24psi. It ran 11.90s @115 last year making about 50hp less so its a blast to drive, but Im just looking for something else. Ive had my fun and spent lots of $$$. Im no stranger to 6k launched only mine were off launch control
I also stopped by one of the local honda tuning places and talked with them for a while. Im finding more of what everone here is saying. Good car just be carefull of the diff etc...
Now my only consern is fitting into the car. Im 6'4 250 so once Im in, im and confortable but getting in with the topup or hardtop may be a challange!
thanks for the info, keep it comming.

I hate when I have to jump into these threads...
Please *don't* launch your cars. You guys think you're recommending something safe to other owners, but you're not. This is not something that you should be recommending to people.
Original poster, the S isn't a great drag car in stock form. If you're actually worried about parts breaking because you need/want to launch your car, you shouldn't buy an S2000.

Yeah it will probably not be a comfortable car for you bro -- I'm 5'10, 180 and sometimes it's uncomfortable for me! But they do make low seat rails (companies like Backyard Speical and J's Racing) that drop the seat a little to make it more comfortable. But yeah, 6'5" 250 is probably going to work
I fit in the car just fine with headroom and legroom, but its getting into the car thats the issue. I have to check it out for sure. Ive already looked into the lower seat rails and a removable wheel just to be on the safe side.
I know I have to loose some weight, I getting married soon anyways.

Formally, bump steer is a change in toe as a result of bump or droop. This can cause undesirable effects during acceleration/deceleration, or cornering over bumpy surfaces, as mentioned above. Bump steer is caused (or corrected) by the length and location of the steering link (front suspension) or toe link (rear suspension). Also, semi-trailing arms create lots of bump steer.
A couple of other notes:
Bump steer is a characteristic of independent suspensions. Obviously, a solid rear axle will not have bump steer.
Interestingly, some suspensions are designed purposely to have a certain degree of bump steer.

Vehicles with solid rear axles actually DO have rolll steer (or more accurately, roll understeer) designed into their geometry. Google it if you're doubtful.
Viewing "bump steer" is a gross over simplification, becuase in reality it is just a side effect of roll understeer, which is not necessarily a bad thing. Roll understeer allows the AP1's to turn in more quickly (due to a stronger bias toward over steer) and then transition more toward under steer (actually less over steer) as the car rolls and takes a set. The outside rear tire turns toward the inside of a turn during cornering, due to roll, and this moves the handling bias towars under steer. Roll understeer also increases absolute grip. Downsides include the aformentioned effects when a wheel hits a bump or dip, but like every other part of a cars suspension design it's a tradeoff. The "bump steer" in the early AP1's was not a mistake or a flaw, but rather a well considered design tradeoff.
