Default Initial VAFCII Settings

I'll be installing the VAFCII tomorrow with the plug-n-play harness and want to make sure I configure the unit properly the first time. I just want to set it so I can drive it to the shop to get dyno'd and tuned.

Please confirm/comment

1. Setting the sensor number - PR-6
2. Setting the number of cylinders - 4
3. Checking the throttle sensor voltage - it says to select sensor chk and check the throttle sensor voltage in the accelerator fully closed status and the accelerator fully open status. (Does this mean to let the unit read the voltage with the accelerator unpressed, and then fully pressed to the floor?)
4. Setting the throttle sensor type - Select Car Select. When the throttle sensor voltage is 0v to 1v in the fully closed status in the previous item, set the arrow to the upwards direction. When the same voltage is 3v - 5v, set the arrow to the downward direction. When the arrow is set to the mark *, no correction is performed by the throttle position. What is this doing?
5. Setting the VTEC type - 1
6. Learning the throttle opening - It says to hold the accelerator fully closed for about 10 seconds while turning the ignition on It doesn't say to turn off the ignition beforehand... what to do?
7. Setting the VTC monitor - It says this is only performed for i-VTEC equipped vehicles - does not apply.

Thanks!

recommend leaving it unplugged and plugging it in when you get there.

For step 3 all you do is put the ignition in the ACC position(this turns everything on but does not start the car)

Next, leave the throttle (gas pedal) alone for 10 seconds

Then, fully open the throttle (push pedal to the floor) for about another 10 seconds.

The VAFCII is not going to beep or let you know that it was done correctly or not. After you have it setup go for a drive while monitoring throttle position and go full throttle the reading on the VAFCII should be 100%

If you need more help PM me. I have the instructions on how to do this I have to reference them for the rest of your questions.
