Default Injured Baby, Anything To Look For?

Hey guys, i got a sad story to tell I recently damanged my s2k, i was driving about 20-25 right when it just started raining, and i went around a SLIGHT curve, and for whatever reason, i hydroplaned, spun around, and the rear of my car slid up on a curb. There isnt really any cosmetic damage to the body, except a few scrapes on the underside of the front bumber where the front bumper was rubbed against the road, but my rear driverside wheel was sitting crooked, brake assembly was messed up, and rotor was literally broke in 2 pieces. Im guessing the axle was broke, i dont know, couldnt see under the car, but damage is 1800, but all i have to pay is deductible. Luckily, i wasnt doing anything wrong, and the officer saw me hydroplane and said there wasnt anything i could do and i didnt do anything wrong, so hopefully my insurance wont go up. Anyways, obviously i need to be weary of the way my tires wear, and if my car pulls left or right, but is there anything else i need to be looking to make sure its working right?

Sounds like it is going into the shop. I would leave it to the "pros".

As long as you get a new alignment after the repairs are complete, you should be "straight".

Strange, I had a dream last night about spinning on the freeway. Yikes, more like a nightmare! I was able to control it - twice! (At least in my dreams I have SKILLS!!!)

Best of Luck,
Hockey

No, my car has 30,000 miles on it. I have continental extreme contact tires, which have worked GREAT, and they were cheaper than the s02's, and recommended by a local shop. An officer saw me and said there was nothing i could do, and he's seen that happen several times at that exact curve, and its not a sharp curve, maybe theres a dip in the road that collects water or something, i dont know. But ofcourse im leaving it to the pros!! i'd never try to fix anything like that myself

Hey ATLredbullet, I'm glad to hear that you are okay. I have spun my S2000 180 degrees and it's a hair raising experience to say the least. Can I ask what gear you were in?

Hope she is as good as new when done.
