input plz
hi, i am new to s2000 world,
just got one silverstone yesterday,
stock with CAI, some chrome make up kit on the ebay bay, front lip and minor mods,
first impression, stiffer ride i ever have, enjor it,
but have not get used to the rumble feeling,
is it because the stock spring really hard? or because the 16in stock wheel?
also, i found the rear shock looks like can be adjusted, is that stock?
any suggestion to change more stable ride and keep the same stiffer ride?
i donot know how to say it, it feels tight, but just too bumpy.
thanks.

Wow,
No offense, but that is hard to comprehend.
Maybe your spring spacers need to be removed. They are used to keep the cars from bouncing around too much on the truck ride to the dealership.
Some owners have found that they were not removed by the dealer.

"input plz" is a pretty lame thread title, don't you think. I mean, can you imagine someone posting, "No input, please."
If I wanted this kind of help, I'd had titled the thread, "Suspension: how firm is it supposed to be?" But that's just me.
What model year did you get? How many miles on your car? What did you drive before?
The stock ride is firm, controllable, and "hard" compared to many "American" cars. I believe model years 02 and 03 and a bit different from 00 and 01. Perhaps yours isn't stock. Find out how it varies from stock and let us know.
Definitely check that the rubber spring spacers were properly removed before the dealer delivered the car.
16 inch wheels will give a stiffer ride than 14 inch or 15 inch, but I've never heard of 14 inch or 15 inch on an S2000. 17 inch or 18 inch or 19 inch will only make the ride progressively harder.
You could get a softer ride with different tires, but you'd sacrifice grip. Do you have stock Bridgestone Potenza SO-2 tires on your car?

The first time I drove my s2k, i thought it was the stiffest ride ever. I didn't know how I'd get used to it. Now I have gotten used to it, and I wish the ride was even stiffer. Just give it a week or so and you'll love it!!
Funny, when I first drove my S my first impression was how supple the suspension was. Now I also I wish it was firmer. Guess it all depends on what ride you're switching from and what you want the car to do.
