Inqiury on 70mm custom exhaust
Currently, Im running the stock system with two aftermarket mufflers(hayame brand)which sound great but due have a bit of drone. I then installed a resonator which helped but has not eliminated all the drone.
I was wondering since Ive been reading and hearing that you can get good gains from opening up the exhaust if it was possible to have a quite 70mm single exhaust. I was also thinking of while changing the exhaust, just to install a test pipe which Ive also heard stops the drone(not sure if thats valid) plus had's a bit of hp. Some other threads mentioned that the test pipe doesnt do much since we have a pretty free flowing cat and just basiclaly makes the car smell
Basically, I just dont want to be heard coming from two blocks away. Ive also read in another threads that some,(not in s2k's) have installed two resonators instead of one to help with the noise of the car when going to single. Wouldn't that make the exhaust more restrictive??
Thanks for any input.
