Default Inside Mirror Problem

The little black plastic jobbie that covers the
rear-view mirror where it meets the windshield keeps
popping off. Does anyone else have this problem and if
so, what's the fix??? Appreciate any help.

Superglue??

Mine does it too - as a matter of fact, reading this post makes me wonder if I still have that little piece of plastic. I hope not, so I don't have to worry about it any more.

Yeah, you know I went to a Honda dealership awhile back to check the new 2003's to see if they too had no plastic cover for the exposed metal at the top-side of the mirror attachment. They don't. It seems unfinished. I guess I could get rid of the rear-view, it only brings me bad news anyway---flashing lights, reckless driving tickets, body-cavity searches, etc.

Mine is a 2003!!! I'll have to visit my friendly local neighborhood
Honda dealer. You'd think that with all the superb engineering
in this car they could get the little things right.
