Default Inside of Soft top PIC REQUEST

Hello all, i recently got my top replaced and not sure if the shop messed up or not. i have what seems to be like a bag over the 3rd/4th bars and its sorta floppy and shabby looking. it is an OEM top. i just want ammunition to take to the shop when i ask for a second attempt.

It's ap2 glass window. And the "bag" isn't tight at all it's maybe 2-3 Inches of hang from the roof. If I un Velcro the "bag"I see raw frame pipe. I'm thinking that section should be wrapped and taught somehow... Not sure

I'd like to bump the request for pics. I'm back and forth with State Farm and the California BAR right now. Long story short, my rear window is resting on the roll bars, and it looks like the window is sealed to the top from the inside. The thin strip catches my secret compartment door on it's way up.

Hoping you guys can help me supply some proof that my top is an aftermarket top and not a used factory as it was outlined in my repair order.

Thanks!

my guess is that the shop bought you a used oem top complete with frame and replace the whole thing. Those loose straps says it all. Check your repair quote and see if they qouted you on a brand new complete top or just a used soft top cloth. As for those straps, it's nothing to worry about cause modify sells those replacement straps with instructions.

Good luck man I'm SOL.

Spent most of the day with State Farm. Got no where. Time spent getting water boarded would have been time better spent. Now it's on to file a complaint with whoever regulates insurance and auto repairs.
