This is a picture I marked up some time ago to illustrate where the Modifry straps go on the inside of one's top.

Should provide you with what you need, I think. Btw, the Modifry straps I'm mentioning are the replacements for the sagging older elastics which crap out after maybe 2 or 3 years of use in every S2000. I'm actually to the point where I need to replace my replacements because they are now probably 2 years or so old. This particular picture is of the top *before* putting the Modifry strap in. The Modifry strap loops around the bar one full time and over itself (not that this info matters right now, but it will later if you add the Modifry straps).

PS Mine is an AP2 which came originally with the glass window. I believe there are some differences between AP1 and AP2 tops (which is why I asked earlier) so please do your own research on that. The picture is of the OEM top.
