Default Install Question on Front Bumper Guard

About two weeks ago I bought got a front bumper guard/protector from MetalCraft--the sort that fastens under the front of front bumper.

When I install it:

- What do I torque the bolts to?

- Is Loctite a good idea? If so, if the blue kind satisfactory?

- Perhaps because I ordered mine without paint (they said it's stainless on the phone), there are burrs around the mounting holes. Is there any reason not to remove them before mounting?

I'm new here, so I'm a little confused. Since there is notice of a group buy immediately above my thread, group buys and issues regarding accessories go into this forum and general information about the S2000 goes in Marketplace. Do I have that right?

If you click on forums in the upper left corner at the top of the page, another page with a list of forums will pop up. The first one which pops up is S2000 talk, which is the appropriate place to post questions related to the S2000.

Posts in the marketplace would be for buying or selling something only. PM me if you have anymore questions...

I had the Coastal Metals front lip and now have the Amuse knock off lip on and both these attach with the same sort of bolts yours attaches with. Put the appropriate socket on the end of the screw driver handle and tighten by hand fairly tight. I have never used Locktite and they have never come loose. Sure, clean off the burrs or not. It doesn't really matter as they are hidden anyway.
