Default Installed Berk TP and K&N intake

recently purchased Berk TP and K&N intake and today i got finally had time to put them on.

Thoughts on the intake: pretty easy install, only problem was my strut bar wanted to get in the way.....with the help of a friend we managed to man handle it into submission after a few attempts. once on and car started the unit hums, im not sure if this is due to the fact that i got it from another member and it needs to be cleaned already or that this is what the K&N do (if anyone can chime in and let me know i would appreciate it). fit and finish are good worth the money IMO.

Thoughts on TP: Install easy again, although i didnt have ideal setup to be under car. (spring bolts are a PITA).

after install of both i turned car on and let it run for a bit. . .car deffinatly smelled a little without the cat, but i can live with it.The intake hums so it sounds a little different. First drive i noticed a better kick once in vtec, and a little beefier sound-though nothing drastic.

overal im pretty happy with everything, i only spend 275 on both pieces shipped.

deff rec anyone who wants to do it to go for it.

intake hum is normal. your stock intake also hummed (if you ever took off the airbox lid, you can hear it) but to a lesser extend because the intake box was designed to minimize noise.

Was the test pipe fitted to your stock exhaust?
