Installed my Kaaz LSD this week...
I broke my second Torsen differential on my car and I wasn't hard on this one at all, so it was time to replace it with a diff that I know wont brake - a Kaaz 1.5 way LSD.
Ok, no pictures yet, I'll post when I have them - hopefully they'll come off the digi vid cam properly. Anyway, the install was easy except when it came to properly setting up the rear end. My mom's neighbor is a long-
time hot rodder and he helped me and my friend Sean set it all up for the proper
preload and backlash. The service manual's torque spec for the locknut on the end of the pinion is not high enough and allows for play on the pinion gear. Around 120 lb/ft seems to do the trick (service manual recommends 94). Other than that stuff, the rest was pretty simple. Anyway, I'll
write up about all that when I get the pictures and put the write up together for Sean's site (SOHC Power - http://138.23.206.216/car/ - shameless plug).
I was not sure what to expect from this dif since I know the Kaaz LSD's for B series motors are real loud, but Sean's D series Kaaz is real quiet. Well, this one's pretty loud. It's operation is certainly not transparent in parking lots. The car now drives with all the precision of a swiss ****ing watch, but the refinement is now somewhere between a harley davidson and a John Deer lawn tractor. Anyway, fun stuff. I'll post a link when I do the full write up with pictures.
BTW, I had no less than 3 cops to answer to before I could finish doing my break-in procedure figure 8's. Lots of "WTF is he doing?"

I have a question for ya, how hard would it be to find a different ratio ring and pinion for the stock diff? I know the schpeal about actually doing the work, Im just looking for parts . . .

I know Toda has a kit for different ratios, but I think they actually change the ratios in the tranny, not the rear end. From looking at the rear end on the S, I'd say there's not a whole lot of room to screw around, so I don't know how different a ratio you could even fit in there.
Why would you want to change the gearing? That's one thing about the car I just can't complain about. Honda didn't choose these gears for economy - they chose them because they're the best street/track setup you can get.

The company in Japan who did this made one exactly like Spoons but at much much cheaper price. I have one on order presumably will be available in sometime in January since these are not massively produced.
I am already reaping the benefit of final gear ratio change with ATS gear which does it with secondary gear shaft in the tranny.
This has easily been the best modification done to my car to date.
It helps tremendously in the acceleration department specially down-low.
To sort of prove my point, I had best of 14.86 sec(launching around 5.5K for the 1/4mile run at the dragstrip prior to the ATS gear change.
After the installation of the ATS gear along with Toda flywheel, my time came down to 14sec. 14sec is nothing to be proud about but consider this, I dumped the clutch at measily 2K Rpm and acheived first 14.1 and next one with 14sec. 2 other S2000 which were stock ran 15sec with dumping clutch at 6K+ Rpm. Even at letting the car rip at 2k Rpm, I still got massive wheel spin to slow me down from the start while my opponent pulled away. In the capable hands I am sure he or she can do much better like low to mid 13sec.
Now, I am going to try something wild by doing it in the differential alongside with ATS gear still in place. I am expecting my car to accelerate much more fiercly.
I will provide you with more info as well as the tentative price figure.
