Installed windscreen lights. Pics.
I decided to install my own windscreen lights after thinking about it and seeing Macgyver's posts. I am just using a white/red combination. I have it wired so that if the headlights are on, the white LEDs are on and when I hit the brakes, the reds come on. It is fully functional right now. I also have a switch to make it red all the time and one to turn the whoe thing on/off. Here are some pictures. They are kind of blurry because it is hard to stay steady when taking night shots.
Control module.
The pictures don't really do it justice. It looks like it has 2 "bright spots" in the picture that are there, but aren't that bad in person.
I have the board inside of a project box that sits behind the panel behind the driver's seat. I am just using a 9-pin d-sub connector so I can remove the box if I need to. Sorry I don't have any pitcures of the control box, I will get some and post them later. Also, the wires that go to the windscreen (between the base and the compartment cover) are not noticeable at all.

Is the screen etched or what?
