Default installing new seats

I got an 06 3 weeks ago and I am very disappointed with the leather quality of the seats. The corseness & cheap vinyl-feel of the seat feels like the leather package in Kia. My $200 Office Max executive "leather" chair feels higher quality than the car's. From pictures, it looks like the seats from previous years were of higher quality. *note that the 06 has different seats without the hole in the headrest area.

So anyways, I wanted to inquire about installing better aftermarket seats from people who have changed it. I prefer seats similar to the current ones, and not tight and uncomfortable buckets. I'm looking for comfort, luxury, and style. Seems a little pointless to have electronic seats, but that wouldn't be such a bad thing.

I was looking into the Momo Speed 1 or 2.

I definitely prefer leather, and Recaro seems to be the only reputable company I could find with it. Some Porsches have leather versions available. What do you guys think about Recaro leather seats?
WOOOOOO i wish i could afford these

Any suggestions?

just before u go buying the seats remeber this, your air bags wont work if you do decide to change the seats. i also think s2k leather sucks arse. if you think 06 leather sucks you should check out 05 and below. IMO 05 and below is pretty bad.

2006 models have airbag sensors on the rails and passenger seat. This is not the case for earlier models. If you have an 06 it is not a simple bolt on like everyone else. I was disappointed to find this out as I am pretty tall and was hoping to swap in some bucket seats in my 06 to find I would have to ditch the air bags. OEM seats it is for now. Perhaps someone could fab a rail that works with the newer models?

Also, those reclining seats may not fit without rubbing the door and not allowing you to open the center glovebox if you want to call it that. Also you would sit higher with a reclining seat.

woow. So the airbag issue would rule out my itching for the recaro seats from the link above. The center suede and side leather would feel awesome and add 15 points to the chick magnet value of this car. The center white suede with side black leather would make my GPW look very classy.

So an alternative solution~ anyone know any companies that sell high quality leather slip-on covers for our cars?
