Also, what is up with the crumpled faded look on the sides of our 06 seats? Makes my 3 week old car seats look like 5 years old. Anyway to leather polish and shine it to make it look new without having to redo it everytime you it on it?

heh, unfortunately not. Honda decided to address the complaints about the leather cracking in the older cars by using Rhino Butt leather that is cheap and hard feeling but probably more robust. oh well.

The outer bolster problem may be replaced by your dealer under warrantee if you're dealer is smart.

I agree about the bolsters being crappy, but I guess I don't have an issue with the leather quality. I don't have much to compare it with. Frankly, I'd prefer some kind of cloth. But, well treated (avoid water, and use leather product only), they seem OK to me.

I actually prefer non-leather. Less rubbing noise & easier to maintain (just need a simple fabric 3M waterproof protection from the supermarket) ...

I wish the seats came in non-leather. i don't need fancy leather in a race car.

so...no1's got any input on what type of seats they have? which ones will fit and not block the glove box n stuff. If anyone has those uber expensive recaros in the link above.

Also, is there any way the wires in the 06 seats can be placed into aftermarket ones so I don't have to go airbagless. There's also that weight sensor that needs to be placed in as well.

IF you guys are having the cracks / wrinkles in the side bolster, check this product out, the BMW guys have great results with it.

I am going to try it soon, I will post my results up later.
