just bought a 2004 car from main dealer, fabulous car can't wait for summer (if we get any!). Noticed that when lights on all instruments illuminate except mirror and window switches on doors. Dealer says this is normal but wasn't too sure at first. Can anyone tell me if this is right? Seems odd not to illuminate these?

 

That is correct. Those switches do not illuminate.
