Can you read the display easily with these type of lenses? I cannot read the diplay on my other car very well, and pumps at gas stations are almost impossible
to read in full sunlight.

Thanks,

Paulf1

especially the 04 S2K

are you turning the headlights on during the day? If so, hold down the + button for contrast, and it will go to full brightness (same as lights off). I dont know if this is still the same on the '04's though.

Hey Johnny, he wanted to know if you could see the digital dash when wearing the polarized lenses. I dont know, but I know that in direct sunlight, it is hard to see if the sun is beating down on the dash. Sorry I couldnt be of more help.

I have no problem seeing the dashboard in my S2000 through my polarized lenses. I did discover during a recent test drive that my sunglasses block the proper viewing of a Corvette heads-up display.

The display is an LCD so the light from it will be polarised, which means that polarised lenses have the potential to cause trouble. Since polarised sunglasses are designed to block horizontally polarised light you'd hope that vehicle designers would make sure any polarised displays are vertically polarised.

I saw that CoralDoc didn't experience any trouble so I'd assume that the S2000's LCD is appropriately polarised.

Now, if you wanted to drive with your head held at 90 degrees you may be in difficulty...

When I drive I use Maui Jim sun glasses. These are polorized. I have not had any problems reading the displays.

Actually, you'd want them BOTH horizontally polarised...otherwise the dash would look dark.

No problems here either. Unless you turn your head sideways

I wear Revo sunglasses, the display is a little faded when I wear them, but doesn't cause issues. But if I tilt my head to the left, it will disappear
