I am amazed that everyone in the forum is from Jersey, sorry that is isn't working out. I live in Virginia, and perhaps the reason I ddi so well with th site is that I have some marks on my record that are more than 3 years, but less than 5 years ago. It seems that many companies go back 5-7 years in driver history, some only go back 3 years. The site gives you the ability to check multiple companies rates in a small period of time, so I was able to see the companies that go back 3 years, maybe that is how I saved so much money. I am paying $1150 per year with 100/100/300 and a 250 deductable in both collision and comprehensive on a new 02' stook, oh and a wreckless driving and 2 no-fault accidents from 4 1/2 years ago, thought I did pretty well.

Hey this is only something you guys who are not with USAA and are paying what seems to be outrageous amounts to check and see if you really are paying too much. Sorry it isn't working out for you as it did for me. Soy

I dont even have a S2000 and my mom and I pay about $5K/yr for my civic and her accent. I think we pay way to much. I think lower insurance rates is the only reason why I can't wait to grow older.

I was not -- however, my father was and that made me eligible.

I was a military brat for 18 years so that made me eligible. I got my first credit card from them when I was 16 with a $300 limit. I still have it although the credit limit has been raised
