I'm 24, no points, and drive my '02 S2000 about 25k miles a year. I pay $100/month for 50/100 coverage and $250 deductible. It's the only car on the policy.

Prior to that, I had a '95 Supra TT that was on my parent's policy. It was $150/month for that, but I was in Los Angeles at the time (higher premiums there).

I'd say $320/month is high, even for 21, unless you live in an urban area, have high coverage, low deductibles, and multiple points or claims on your record.

Everyone needs to do themselves a favor and check out www.insweb.com if you are paying what seems to be alot of money for insurance. No, I do not work for, nor do I know anyone who works there, I just got online, put in my info, and 15 minutes later, I got 6 quotes. The company I ended up going with saved me over $1000 on my 02' Stook from what I was previously paying through Progre**ive on a damn 2000 Civic Si. I am just so pleased with the site and how they are giving the power back to the consumer. Who the heck has 3 hours to call 3 insurance companies everytime they want to price shop. Do yourself a favor and give it a try, if it doesn't save you anything, then you only lost 15 minutes of your time. Sincerely, Soyinside

Tried the site. Got only 2 offers. Both are more expensive than what I have now, USAA. Any way, it was worth a try.

Wow!!! This site is a rip off!! They gave me 5 quotes and all were almost DOUBLE what I pay now! But, I guess it was worth the effort since it did only take a few minutes. I am sure some out there will save some money with it.

ntphan - NO ONE will beat USAA. That's what I have. The best part of having USAA is that when companies call soliciting me for insurance or credit cards and i tell them i have USAA, they say thanks and hang up.
