Question Insurance in the NorthEast

Hi all I'm considering a purchase and will learn my fate tomorrow morning on whether or not I will be approved but, there is this little item that has eluded my thoughts so far....

YOU GUESSED it! How much am I going to be paying for car insurance on this vehicle...

For reference I'm 26 (almost 27), single and live in New Jersey.

It will be for a new 2007 red s2000......

Any ideas if I say this is my recreational vehicle? I also have a 91 Acura LS that is my beater so I should be able to tell them only 7500 (or less) a year on it or whatever.

Any help would be appreciated cause I'm wiggin out a little on how much I'm going to be paying. Trying to budget and see if owning this car is going to be realistic. Thanks all.

You should post this in the Metro NY or DelVal forum(s) to get a better idea of local cost of insurance.
Having said that the best way to find out what you will pay is to get a quote from your agent or an online quote. There are too many variables involved to gauge what you will pay based on what other people pay.

I don't have a clue!! CALL YOUR AGENT Monday morning and ask them! That's their job. If this is too much work, try Geico or another online company and you'll get a proposal that way..

This ball is in your court, not ours...
