It's interesting to see how the prices can vary depending on where you live. In Vancouver, insurance is government run so everyone has to follow the same rules.

5% discount for every year of accident free driving. Collisions where you are 100% NOT at fault don't count.

I'm at 25% right now and I pay about $2700 canadian a year on my 2002 vw 2 door golf (collision, 2 million liability, $100 deductible)

I think that Honda's are more expensive to insure because of the high theft rate of Honda cars here (It's a Civic Nation)... but I'm not sure how much more.

29 years old with a clean driving record
For some reason I feel like I'm getting F*cked as it looks like I'm paying more than a comparable customer in Los Angeles.

I was looking at a 2001 - 2002 Corvette Z06 and my agent told me the S is rated higher than the Vette

of course that was before we became the hurricane target of the century.

sorry forgot age. 39. and its a 2000 but my coverage hasn't changed and its been about that much since i first got it.

I pay just over $800 per year, 35, only 1 ticket in last 5 years (speeding, 80 in a 70 zone) and live in the Orlando, FL area.
